Important rule change Please check the rules to look at the way prize payouts are handled from now on as Esports Heaven has had an important change in these rules! Update from tomzki After talking to many teams/players and reading media sites it became clear that it would be best for a schedule change. However this change may work out, it may not... only time will tell. For the time being the cup time/dates will remain the same although I will be releasing the brackets much earlier than expected, Thursday 28th to be exact. For this reason I will be allowing teams to play there matches before the cup time/date. When entering the result, a screenshot of GUIDs and scores is essential for your match to be accepted. I will need full proof that the opponent did not appear, this may include screenshots, server logs, stream logs, chat logs/screenshots, direct contact from the opponent etc. This may cause a few issues... and for that reason I ask for your patience and full cooperation. Any questions/problems then contact me asap. Thanks! tomzki See you on Tuesday! |

| CIC7 sees more prize money injected into CoD4 | written by eRR0r |
![]() The Crossfire Intel Challenge 7 has seen the CoD4 scene pull together to make sure that it is event worth remembering. They met the deadline of getting 10 teams paid up which confirmed the tournament, but now 'TosspoT' has increased the prize triggers. Originally the triggers stopped at 20 teams, as this, especially after CC5, looked a very ambitious target. But the CoD4 scene has really shown that they can commit if they need to, and currently have a massive 26 teams signed up already. Though this has yet to be confirmed by 'TosspoT' (who currently only has confirmation of 18 ), 'vanner' has screenshots of all the bank transfers for the other 8 teams, and has proof that they have paid. The new prize triggers now sport a potential €7,000 prize pot, something that the CoD4 scene rarely sees. This requires 30 teams to pay up. But with 26 teams already paid and the likes of fnatic, dignitas and unique still to pay, the 30 teams looks incredibly likely. Here is the full list of triggers. Note the scene has already made it to the €6,000 trigger, a great achievement. 3000 for 10 Teams 4000 for 16 Teams 5000 for 20 Teams 6000 for 26 Teams 7000 for 30 Teams Cadred and TEK9 will be at force at the event, with a massive 4 man team ready to cover the entire event so make sure you stay tuned for more coverage coming your way. |
