The next installment in Esports Heaven's Sapphire Euro Challenge series will be a £500 single elimination tournament for Call of Duty 4.

Having already hosted a number of Sapphire sponsered tournaments, today Esports Heaven are excited to announce that they will be hosting the Sapphire Euro Challenge for Call of Duty 4 next week.

Starting on Monday the 16th and running until Wednesday the 25th, the tournament will feature a total of 64 teams pitted against each other in a seeded single elimination tournament. Each game will be played on a pre-determined map, as per the schedule below. The only exception to this is the grand final, which will be best of 3, decided in the usual manner.

The grand prize will be £500 (about €610) for first place. There are no prizes for the runners up. The schedule is as follows:

Round 1 + 2: Monday 16th August
20:00 CET - mp_crash
21:00 CET - mp_crossfire

Round 3: Wednesday 18th August
21:00 CET - mp_citystreets

Quarter & Semi-Finals: Monday 23rd August
20:00 CET - mp_strike
21:00 CET - mp_crash

Final: Wednesday 25th August
21:00 CET - Best of 3, maps tba.
